What is a hackathon?

A hackathon is an event in which programmers, designers, and more come together to collaborate on the development of a product. Over the duration of the event, students will learn about new technologies and build connections with others along the way.

Who can attend?

Anyone who is a college or high school student over the age of 18 is eligible to participate!

What should I bring?

Bring your computer, student ID, chargers, monitors, and any other hardware you plan on using.

Do I need to have a team?

We will be holding a brief team formation at the start of the event. However, you are welcome to hack alone if you so desire. We allow teams of up to five. If you do have a team, make sure to register early!

Are there any rules?

We will be enforcing our Code of Conduct which requires you to respect others and help us keep MesaHacks a safe space for everyone. If you want your project to be considered for a prize, you may only submit work that your team wrote during the hackathon.
